Aunty Kathy's Kloset

The Connection Point Kloset is an extension of Hanai Ministries at Hamakua Baptist Church in Laupahoehoe.

On June 11th, 2025, we lost our beloved Kathy Ah Sing. She was the catalyst behind the Keiki Kloset ministry and dedicated many hours every week to washing the clothes, folding, and sorting into the bins. She and Charlie were often the first faces that guests to Keiki Kloset would see. To know Kathy was to love Kathy. She was passionate about Jesus and children, dedicating her life to fostering and to making children feel loved and safe.

Continuing Kathy’s Ministry of Care

Aunty Kathy’s Kloset is a donation-powered ministry committed to sharing aloha with families in our community. Every item on our shelves - from clothing to baby gear and household goods - is made possible through the generosity of neighbors who give from the heart. By donating to this ministry, you help carry forward the spirit of Aunty Kathy herself: a legacy of kindness, compassion, and unwavering care for those in need. Your gift not only supports local families, it honors the beautiful way she lived. Financial donations, marked as "Aunty Kathy's Kloset" or "AKK", can be dropped in the offering box at the back of the sanctuary, mailed to the church, or given online. Please reach out if you have any questions!
